K+S: Engaged

Oh my get ready for a fant-a-bulous session.

Kristy wrote me earlier this summer about shooting her wedding in Arkansas in the 2013 summer.

She had a neatly created document with her inspiration and knew exactly what she wanted – which I loved!

After chatting about it all she (luckily) hired me to be her photographer.

I was thrilled!

My family and I hopped in the car and headed to Little Rock for their session!

Krysti and Sam decided that a sunrise session would be great, so they snagged me from my hotel and off we went.

It was funny, because I was meeting them for the FIRST TIME at 7am, in Arkansas and being wisked away about 20m or so to a smaller outside town.

I was a little nervous… until I met them!Β

Krysti is SO happy, bubbly and creates engery and Sam is chill, easy going and content too!

As we were driving we noticed the dense fog and I was hoping it would hang around a while… it totally did!

These images are at her wedding venue, however we saved the more “polished” and garden locations for her wedding day.

Their engagement session was raw, rustic, earthy, natural and FULL of THEIR love and life!

I posted a TON of images, because I the backdrops were incredible:

-foggy old barns

-damp gravel roads

-old vine covered dwellings

-cotton field

-massive cypress trees hugging the water

-sunflower field

I think you all will enjoy each one. <3

Krysti and Sam.

Thank you for trusting me to photograph you two.

Thank you for being so easy… through the fog, the mud, the drizzling, the “I don’t know how to load my film,” moments. <3

Most of all – thank you for seeking out these amazing locations and choosing me toΒ captureΒ y’all.

.love.

Are you serious, Arden?? That is crazy! You should use Two Bright Lights if you’re looking to get this featured. Have you heard of them before? It’s an awesome service to streamline publishing. You said that was a goal for 2012, right? πŸ˜‰

        • ardenprucha says

          December 4, 2012 at 7:05 pm

Yes! I waited nearly six weeks for SMP and then I couldn’t wait any longer and had to share these for them!
I am always under the impression that I cannot share my images on my own blog, if I am trying to get them published, right?
