I first met Christopher when I photographed an event he put together for the Haiti earthquake victims.
It was called “Fort Worth Sings for Haiti” and was an all day concert benefitting the victims.
Christopher is the type of guy that you just adore… because he’s like your fun brother.
A positive spirit, full of LIFE and passion and a true heart of the Lord.
We continued our friendship via FB and would bump into one another here and there… and I always felt super comfy with him.
(Literally like my long lost brother I enjoyed keeping up with his life and he would make me feel accountable for keeping a relationship with the Lord.)
We would chat here and there and talk about life and my family, kids, hubby, and photography… and I would chat with him about life and work.
THEN… the BIG day came when he told me about a SPECIAL LADY.
A lady he LOVED and ADORED and wanted to marry!!!
We started talking wedding photos before he had even proposed and I was STOKED.
I knew this gal had to be pretty darn AWESOME… and really – she IS!
All they kept telling me was that their wedding day was going to be all about the Lord, their love and celebrating with family and friends!
These are the type of people who tell you, “Arden, we want you to put your camera down, grab a glass of wine, and get OUT ON THE DANCE FLOOR WITH US!”
(Crud, baby number four made sure I wasn’t having TOO much fun this wedding.) 🙂
People like this – our what makes my “job” EXTRA special – what an honor.
Now unfortunately, I wasn’t able to meet precious Erin until the wedding day – but she was EASY GOING, cool, calm and ridiculously STUNNING!
Way to go Christopher!
The entire wedding was held at Thistle Springs Ranch, a new venue in Cleburne, Texas… just beautiful!
Their wedding was just as I anticipated: Fun, laid back, beautiful, raw, soft, and celebratory – through their loved ones.
A family style meal provided their perfect setting of feeling like they are all at the dinner table together!
The catering company made the BEST family style meal ever!
This pregnant woman wanted to eat two giant helpings of chicken friend chicken, cream gravy, taters, biscuits, corn and green beans!
Anyway – I will stop jabbering about devouring all of their food and passing on a celebratory drink – I mean who am I… a guest?
(Actually that is what they made me feel like and wanted me to be… and I am so grateful for their generous and loving hearts.)

Babe’s actually began to change their pricing and such a week or two before the wedding, unfortunately. So they found “Dad and Daughter’s Divine Dining” who pulled off an amazing family style meal. It was SO tasty!!! http://www.dddevinedining.com/
