Sixteen Weeks

My precious babe. 

You are growing deep within, but I have slowed down {from the outside} a bit. 

I am now sixteen weeks pregnant with you… and you are about the size of a small avocado. 

Hoping I could feel you, but I cannot yet… tomorrow afternoon I get to hear your heartbeat, so don’t squiggle and squirm too much!

Last night I ordered mussels and LOVED them.

I have been craving spices and salt… and salsa and olives and pickles and anything with cooked tomatoes!

What does this mean?

I had a few contractions last week, which made me a tad nervous, but I hear with each child they come earlier and earlier.

I will wrap up busy season here in about TWO weeks and rest with my feet up; yeah right.

Your siblings and I will bake and dance and sing and snuggle and enjoy the holidays and think about who you are.

Today I was thinking about having you run around with our little crew, it’s going to be amazing and terrifying. 

You four will SURELY rule our roost.
