I was so excited to finally photograph this family!
They have a very busy schedule and we have been going back and forth since early December, then misfortunes like breaking a foot or going out of town would stall us again.
Mama and I grew a cute little email relationship through all of the back and forth – luckily for both of us – we are easy peasy and open to rearranging things!
One of the BEST things I can do for my clients… be laid back and easy about scheduling.
I met them at their BEAUTIFUL home nestled in a nearby wooded area here.
Their backyard is amazing – complete with paths, bridges, water, along with some lovely patches of ivy and small colorful trees.
It was a little chilly, but we made it work!
We followed up inside their home to photograph them playing, reading and lovin’ on one another… what a precious little family.
Little C man had fun showing me around his home and natural playground along with his beloved balloons and room!
He was so good for me and I had fun being in his little playful world!
Mommy and Daddy were so patient, attentive and loving to little C – what a pleasure to witness. 🙂

What a stunning example of a lifestyle family session! I would love to do more casual sessions like this! I’m curious, with something like this, how long are you with the family? Do you suggest things to do with them, like the lego building, popcorn, etc.?
Thanks Cynthi! Mama planned a lot of this, but up in the room I asked him to play peek-a-boo out of the tent, bounce on the bed, and play with his legos. We just went with it! I was actually there longer than expected, but it provided multiple opportunities, plus we were dealing with cold weather and off and on light/cloudiness, etc. 🙂
