Newborn: Baby F

My precious friends and former wedding clients, Erin and Christopher, became parents just a couple of short months ago.

I was so excited to be able to document their sweet trio on their precious and BRIGHT home last week.

Erin is super creative {and um GORGEOUS} and I love what she has done with their quaint pad!

Christopher has such a wonderful spirit – he brightens the room – the moment you meet him.

They are both precious and POSITIVE people… with the most ADORABLE baby girl.

Erin and Christopher chose to keep the gender a surprise until the birth, but chose the name “Fisher.”

These two LOVE Jesus and really wanted to choose a name for her that has a purpose and a connection to Christ.

Christopher shared their story of how he and Erin chose their daughter’s name:

“So we waited to find out the sex of our baby for when he/she was born but decided on a name that first week we found out we were pregnant. A name which, regardless of gender, we wanted to name our child. When Jesus calls his first disciples in the bible, Matthew 4:19, he calls out to these fishermen saying: ‘Follow Me and I will make you Fisher’s of Men.” And so our prayer from that day on has been that this little, precious child will one day see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ and repent and follow Him…and thus follow the same call of the first disciples and become a Fisher of men! We pray that she will boldly proclaim the grace, love, hope, and reconciliation we have through Jesus Christ to this fallen and hurting world.”

What a story and what a name to live up to. I know she will carry her name with pride and glory!

At the end of our session it was time for sweet Fishey Lou to have her bath.
